Welcome everyone to Mommies Stuff. This will be the first of many blogs from me. We will talk about everything here. It might be a great new site I found or something I just bought, or something the kids are doing.... really just anything. As Mommies Stuff gets up and running I might have some theme days. Soon, I will start adding some giveaways, contests, etc. I will always add something special such as a free sample, coupon, anything, to each blog so make sure you check for it.
I'll start the first blog about makeup. Let me start off by saying you will almost never see me wearing makeup. I hate the fact that whenever I put lipstick on in the mornings it wears off when I drink something or it ends up on the kids' cheeks when I kiss them goodbye when they go to school. I received a sample of Max Factor LipFinity lipstick. It's supposed to last for 10 hours, and it comes with a glossy top coat. Of course, I didn't believe the claim that it would last for 10 hours. I put it on just before dinner last night because I just knew it would be worn off from eating and drinking. Boy was I wrong. Not only did it not wear off but it was all still there, not one little spot wore off. When you apply it thoug, you need to apply the base coat and wait 30 seconds without pressing your lips together so it will dry. Then apply the top coat for the shine. I decided to give it the ultimate test. I didn't wash it off of my lips before going to sleep, of course it is going to wipe off in the middle of the night and I will end up having lipstick all over my pillow. Wrong again. It was still on in the morning. I finally found a lipstick I like and I just found out today that as of this year Max Factor will no longer be available in the United States. Uggghhhh!!!!
